Job Description

CJ is seeking a curious, analytical, and driven Business Analyst to support their Strategy & Channel Growth teams. This role involves analyzing performance data to identify key trends and patterns, and transforming these insights into compelling stories. The Business Analyst will develop visual dashboards, charts, and written analyses to communicate insights to internal stakeholders and provide packaged insights and strategic recommendations for client-facing teams. Collaboration with Channel Growth, Product, and Marketing teams is essential for surfacing cross-functional insights. The role also contributes to broader strategic initiatives like OKR-aligned goal setting and quarterly planning, and helps develop and refine benchmarks and forecasting tools.

Overview

We are looking for a curious, analytical, and driven Business Analyst to support our Strategy & Channel Growth teams . In this role, you will uncover insights from performance data and transform them into compelling stories that empower client-facing teams to deliver impactful recommendations. e to broader strategic initiatives, including OKR-aligned goal setting and quarterly planning.


Responsibilities

Do these things interest you? You will:

  • Mine large data sets to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies in client and vertical performance.
  • Develop visual dashboards, charts, and written analyses that clearly communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Support client-facing teams by delivering packaged insights and strategic recommendations for use in business reviews, QBRs, and proactive account planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Channel Growth, Product, and Marketing teams[SW2]  to surface cross-functional insights that drive innovation and optimization.
  • Help develop and refine benchmarks and forecasting tools based on vertical trends.
  • Contribute to broader strategic initiatives, including OKR-aligned goal setting and quarterly planning.

Qualifications

What We are Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in a data-driven role (digital marketing, analytics, econ/stats-based fields).
  • Strong understanding of data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques is essential.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Curious mindset with a natural tendency to ask "why" and dig deeper into data.
  • Strong storytelling abilities—can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Agile mindset
  • The ability to prioritize and pivot
  • Responsive to internal stakeholder needs and deadlines
  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or equivalent work experience, industry recognized data analysis credentials or certification programs a plus.

Compensation Range: $64,400- $71,645 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
