JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a strategic and driven Public Relations Manager to join our growing PR & Influence team at Publicis Groupe. This role has a focus on earned media and press relations - shaping the public voice of major brands through powerful storytelling, strong journalist relationships, and culturally resonant (earned) media strategies.
You’ll work closely with journalists, editors, and key opinion leaders, while also collaborating with creative and strategic teams to deliver integrated, insight-led communication campaigns. While experience in influencer marketing can be a plus, this position is rooted in the world of PR. That said, we don’t believe in rigid boxes, we value hybrid thinking and love people who can connect the dots across disciplines.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive PR strategies that build brand visibility, credibility, and (earned) media presence across traditional and digital channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors and key opinion leaders in the Belgian and international media landscape.
• Craft compelling press materials such as press releases, briefings, Q&As and media kits.
• Act as day-to-day PR contact for clients, ensuring quality control, strategic alignment, and timely delivery of all PR activities.
• Identify media opportunities, proactively pitch stories, and secure earned coverage in line with clients’ business and communication goals.
• Manage media events, press trips, interviews, and product launches, ensuring seamless execution and strong editorial outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, providing actionable insights and detailed reporting to clients and leadership.
• Collaborate with internal departments including strategy, creative, content and media to deliver integrated communication campaigns.
WHO ARE YOU?
• You’re an experienced PR professional with min. 3-4 years of experience with a strong track record in earned media relations, preferably in an agency or fast-paced brand environment.
• You bring strategic thinking, editorial instinct, and deep understanding of the Belgian media landscape.
• You have excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
• You’re a confident client partner, trusted to lead conversations, pitch ideas, and guide clients toward bold, effective PR solutions.
• You combine creativity and critical thinking, and know how to spot a good story - or craft one when needed.
• You’re organized, proactive, and thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
• You’re curious, committed, and not afraid to challenge the status quo - and yes, you enjoy a well-placed meme just as much as a strong editorial angle.
