Job Description

This role involves collaborating with global PreSales teams to support sales pursuits by showcasing Blue Yonder Supply Chain Solutions for the Retail Industry. It's a techno-functional position focused on building business workflows for prospective demos, understanding supply chain functions like forecasting and supply planning, and translating industry use cases into user-driven workflows within Blue Yonder Solutions. The consultant will also assess business needs outside standard solutions and communicate requirements to product teams.
Must have:
  • Work collaboratively with field PreSales globally to support ongoing Sales pursuit showcasing Blue Yonder Supply Chain Solutions across Retail Industry.
  • Build out business workflow for a prospective demo leveraging Blue Yonder Solution capabilities.
  • Participate in business process discovery to design/construction of business workflows catering to industry needs in a PreSales cycle.
  • Understand how Supply Chain functions across Forecasting, Supply Planning process within Manufacturing sub domains.
  • Support and build business demos for respective solution area and industry.
  • Work as a member of e2e PreSales Demo Team on building product demonstration, Industry Use Cases, story boarding and business narratives.
  • Translate Industry use cases and narratives to user driven workflow within Blue Yonder Solutions.
  • Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope.
  • Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain Solutions.
  • Competent working and hands-on knowledge of Supply Chain Planning Solutions and Integrations.
  • Possess understanding of Supply chain domain across Retail Industry in planning space.
Good to have:
  • SQL knowledge
  • Python knowledge
  • Reporting/Analytics knowledge

Job Details

Scope:

  • Works collaboratively with field PreSales globally to support ongoing Sales pursuit showcasing Blue Yonder Supply Chain Solutions across Retail Industry.
  • This is a techno-functional role where an individual works with internal stakeholders to build out business workflow for a prospective demo leveraging Blue Yonder Solution capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver in a dynamic environment given the nature of sales engagements.
  • Has working experience in supply chain planning solutions.
  • Participates in business process discovery to design/construction of business workflows catering to industry needs in a PreSales cycle.
  • Understands how Supply Chain functions across Forecasting, Supply Planning process within Manufacturing sub domains
  • Escalates issues that may have negative scheduling impact. Always conducts oneself in a professional manner with BLUE YONDER customers and internal associates.
  • Ensures the security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property. Ensures compliance with the internal and external company policies and procedures.
  • Keen on learning new Solutions and open to learning technology to complement the functional knowledge.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with dynamic cross functional teams including Product Development, Product Management, Sales and PreSales providing techno-functional support on ongoing Sales pursuit to drive closure, leveraging BlueYonder Solution offerings
  • Responsible for supporting and building business demos for respective solution area and industry.
  • Works as a member of e2e PreSales Demo Team on building product demonstration, Industry Use Cases, story boarding and business narratives to address the retail business prospect functional requirements.
  • Translating the Industry use cases, narrative to user driven workflow within Blue Yonder Solutions.
  • Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps
  • Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate/MBA with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain Solutions.
  • Competent working and hands-on knowledge of Supply Chain Planning Solutions and Integrations.
  • Possess understanding of Supply chain domain across Retail Industry in planning space
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts / domains as needs arise.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to build relationships across business units for collaboration, data requests, and joint analysis.
  • SQL, Python, Reporting/Analytics knowledge is a plus.
