Headout is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead commercial efforts and expansion in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role involves leading commercial efforts and expansion, onboarding supply partners, expanding offerings, and managing distribution-side partnerships. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and growth in sales and bookings, and analyze market trends to optimize business development strategies. The candidate will be the face and voice of Headout to our Supply Partners in the region reporting directly into the General Manager, Central, Southern & Eastern Europe.
Must have:
  • Fully proficient German and English speaker.
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in business development/sales.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

👩‍💻The role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager, DACH to join our Business Team. You will lead our commercial efforts and expansion in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will be the face and voice of Headout to our Supply Partners in the region reporting directly into the General Manager, Central, Southern & Eastern Europe.

  • Innovate. You will play a crucial role in launching new initiatives, onboarding supply partners, expanding our offerings, and managing distribution-side partnerships in Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
  • Cultivate. Continuously develop relationships with supply partners and grow key accounts to scale them to higher revenues.
  • Collaborate. Work with internal stakeholders (Operations, Tech, Marketing, etc.) and your accounts to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and growth in sales & bookings.
  • Analyze. Identify market trends and provide market and competitor analysis to optimize business development and sales strategies.

đź’ťWhat skills & experience do you need?

  • Fully proficient German & English speaker based in Berlin.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business development/sales and/or key account management, preferably in travel-related products.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A global mindset and comfort working with people from different cultural backgrounds and time zones.
  • A collaborative attitude with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Experience working with a CRM and a willingness to learn and use new tools.
