ShopMy is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its high-performing sales team, focusing on new client acquisition. This role involves hunting for prospective ShopMy clients, acting as the first point of contact, and representing the company with professionalism. The BDR will generate outbound qualified opportunities, manage inbound pipeline, and support Account Executives by providing detailed prospect notes. The ideal candidate is competitive, persistent, and motivated by results, with a passion for driving outbound sales and maintaining organized pipeline management.
Good To Have:
  • Enterprise/SaaS/Cloud industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of the influencer marketing space.
Must Have:
  • Generate outbound qualified opportunities each month, hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Manage inbound pipeline.
  • Document, assess, and communicate highly detailed notes on prospects using CRM.
  • Work with the Brand Growth team to identify accounts and do extensive territory planning.
  • Conduct prospect research within focused industry verticals.
  • Execute HubSpot CRM data management ensuring data integrity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-2 years of outbound sales and lead generation experience in B2B industry.
  • Eloquent and self-confident written and verbal communicator, comfortable speaking with C-level contacts.
  • Creative problem solver who thrives in figuring out how to get in front of new business/leads.
  • Excellent executor: hits deadlines, takes copious notes, and is quick to act on team needs.
  • Interest in sales career with an early stage startup.
  • Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure.
  • Team first mentality - #adaptability.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, driven and dynamic personality.

About the Role:

ShopMy’s Business Development Rep (BDR) is a part of our high-performing sales team. You will hunt for prospective ShopMy clients and act as the first point of contact, representing ShopMy with an elite level of professionalism and commercial mindedness. Ultimately, your objective is setting up Account Executives for successful selling of our SaaS product to Luxury Brands.

This role is a unique and fulfilling opportunity that will make a significant impact on ShopMy’s growth trajectory.

Your Impact to the Role:

  • New Client Acquisition: Generate outbound qualified opportunities each month, hitting or exceeding your quota. Manage inbound pipeline.
  • Account Executive Support: Mindfully document, assess and communicate highly detailed notes (pain points, budgets, infrastructure, timeline) on prospects- using our CRM- to set AE’s up for successful demos.
  • Creative Research & Targeting Strategy: Work with the Brand Growth team to identify accounts and do extensive territory planning for the assigned leads. Also conduct prospect research within focused industry verticals.
  • Pipeline Management: excellent execution of HubSpot CRM data management ensuring data integrity and accurate notes are accessible for Sales team

This position's base salary starts at $65,000 and has an uncapped commission component.

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
