Job Summary

The Business Intelligence area, part of the Strategy, Marketing, and Customer Experience Vice-Presidency at Datacrédito Experian, aims to transform data into strategic information for decision-making. This role involves developing and maintaining predictive and prescriptive models to anticipate behaviors, optimize processes, and guide strategic business decisions in commercial, product, marketing, and customer experience areas. The specialist will design, implement, and scale advanced analytical solutions to generate competitive advantage, transforming data into actionable insights and prospective scenarios for corporate strategy.

Must Have

  • Develop and maintain predictive and prescriptive models for sales, demand, churn, and customer behavior.
  • Automate data ingestion, model training, and scoring pipelines.
  • Evaluate, validate, and monitor model performance in production.
  • Translate complex analytical results into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand needs and transform them into valuable analytical solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing predictive and prescriptive models in corporate or consulting environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) or R.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of MLOps: deployment, versioning, and monitoring of models in production.
  • Experience with automation of data and model pipelines (ETL/ELT, Airflow, MLflow, dbt).

Good to Have

  • Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience in technology, financial services, or data-intensive industries.
  • Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence applications in Business Intelligence.
  • Intermediate-advanced English proficiency (for technical documentation and global team conversations).

Area overview: The Business Intelligence area is part of the Strategy, Marketing, and Customer Experience Vice-Presidency. Its mission is to transform data into strategic information for decision-making, generating value through analysis of prospects, clients, and products, data visualization, segmentation, commercial intelligence, and advanced analytics. This area works transversally with teams from the same Vice-Presidency such as Digital, Go to Market, CRM, Branding, and CX, as well as with other business areas such as Product, Commercial, Finance, Consulting, Data, and Operations.

Purpose of the role: Develop and maintain predictive and prescriptive models that allow anticipating behaviors, optimizing processes, and guiding strategic business decisions in the commercial, product, marketing, and customer experience areas. The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling advanced analytical solutions that generate competitive advantage, transforming data into actionable knowledge and prospective scenarios that guide the corporate strategy at Datacrédito Experian.

Deliverables:

  • Predictive models for sales, demand, churn, purchase propensity, customer scoring, and campaign optimization.
  • Prescriptive models and “what-if” scenario simulations to support business decisions.
  • Executive reports with actionable insights derived from the models, translated into strategic recommendations.
  • Automated pipelines for model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring (complete lifecycle).
  • Technical documentation and interpretation guides to facilitate the adoption and strategic use of the models.
  • Contribution to high-impact projects where advanced analytics is a key enabler of growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Design, build, and maintain predictive and prescriptive models applied to business problems (sales, marketing, product, customer experience).
  • Automate data ingestion, training, and scoring processes for models, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Evaluate, validate, and monitor the performance of models in production, proposing continuous improvements.
  • Translate complex results into clear insights and strategic recommendations for executives and business teams.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and transform them into valuable analytical solutions.
  • Stay updated on trends in advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning, applying relevant innovations to the business.

What are we looking for?

Education: Professional in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or other quantitative areas. Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or related fields (desirable).

Experience: Minimum 3 years developing predictive and prescriptive models in corporate or consulting environments, experience applying machine learning and advanced analytics to business problems, desirable experience in technology, financial services, or data-intensive industries.

Required technical knowledge:

  • Programming languages: Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) or R.
  • Modeling techniques: regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, decision trees, boosting, deep learning, mathematical optimization.
  • Advanced SQL for manipulation and analysis of large volumes of data.
  • Automation of data and model pipelines (ETL/ELT, Airflow, MLflow, dbt, etc.).
  • Knowledge of MLOps: deployment, versioning, and monitoring of models in production.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to communicate results.
  • Knowledge in marketing analytics, customer portfolio, and user behavior prediction. Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence applications in Business Intelligence. (Desirable)

Languages: Intermediate – advanced English (ability to read technical documentation and participate in conversations with global teams) (desirable)
