Business & Operations Director

Artificial Rome is seeking a Business & Operations Director to develop their studio, focusing on business development without sales jargon, project organization, partnership building, and creating structures. The ideal candidate will bring light to chaos, open doors to new worlds, and thrive in a small, agile innovation studio environment, keeping processes lean while delivering ambitious projects at the intersection of art, technology, space, and culture.

Must Have

• Deliver projects smoothly: from contracts to completion, you keep things on track
• Spot new opportunities: partners, brands, cultural projects that truly fit us
• Build relationships: you’ll grow and maintain our network over time
• Shape studio structures: budgets, workflows, resources – all designed to give ideas room
• Shape culture: not just inside the studio, but in everything we put into the world
• Strong communication skills (English & German)
• Experience in Business Operations or Business Development – ideally in a creative, small studio or agency environment
• More than 10 years of experience in digital Project-management

Good to Have

• Experience in public tenders and museal projects
• A hands-on approach, with the ability to keep the big picture in focus
