As a Business Systems Analyst, you will drive projects to improve finance processes managed through Google's business applications. You'll work on diverse projects and processes, requiring a varied skillset. Responsibilities include partnering with internal teams to develop roadmaps and define requirements, managing project work for predictable delivery, participating in system implementations (requirements documentation, configuration, testing, issue resolution), planning and delivering system enhancements, supporting and upgrading systems, promoting project management best practices, and coordinating cross-team dependencies. You'll also build and maintain relationships for effective collaboration and strategic decision-making. This role involves translating Googler needs into technical specifications, designing and developing systems, and consulting with executives for smooth implementation.

Good To Have:

10+ years ERP SAP systems deployment experience
Experience in business architecture, systems design, integration, and data architecture
Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or Order to Cash processes
Understanding of SAP Financial processes, including period close

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
8+ years experience designing and implementing Finance systems
SAP FICO or SAP BW experience
Project management and system implementation skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, a similar discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience designing and implementing Finance systems.
Experience working in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), or SAP Business Warehouse and other Financial Systems.

Preferred qualifications:

10 years of experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SAP systems deployment.
Experience in business architecture, systems design, systems integration, data architecture, and solutions delivery.
Knowledge of business processes relating to Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or Order to Cash.
Understanding of SAP Financial processes, including period close.
Ability to manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape.
Excellent customer empathy, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with internal business teams in developing delivery roadmaps, defining business processes and associated system requirements.
Organize and manage project work to drive predictable delivery.
Participate in system implementation projects (e.g., requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).
Plan, prioritize, and deliver systems enhancements. Support and upgrade implemented systems. Promote project management best practices, coordinate cross-team and cross-site dependencies.
Build and maintain relationships to facilitate effective collaboration, information gathering, influencing, and strategic decision making.
