Job Summary
ALTEN, a leader in Engineering and IT Services across 30+ countries, supports clients in innovation, R&D, and technological information systems. This role focuses on developing new features for high-tech medical imaging software, specifically for mammography or cardiac imaging applications. The project involves complex product development adhering to French and international medical device standards, requiring high reliability and test coverage. The team consists of 12 C++ developers.
Must Have
- Engineering degree
- Experience in software development, ideally C++ applications or in the medical field
- Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of MVC architecture and design patterns
- Understanding of software architecture and calculation parallelization
- Ability to implement automatic tests
- Ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in English
- Participating in defining application architecture
- Developing features in Agile mode (2-week sprints)
- Improving the unit test base
- Updating code documentation for developed components
- Participating in code reviews, performing cross-tests

- Knowledge of Docker and Gitlab

The medical sector focuses on the development and supply of high-tech medical equipment. It plays a key role in optimizing healthcare through innovative and high-performance devices.
Main Missions
The project involves developing new functionalities for medical image visualization software for mammography or cardiac imaging applications.
This is a complex product that must meet French and international standards specific to the medical device field. Test coverage and achieving demanding reliability levels are necessary for the introduction of this software to the market.
The project language is C++, and the team consists of 12 developers.
Main Activities:
Development of new functionalities
- Participation in defining the application architecture,
- Development of functionalities in Agile mode (2-week sprints)
- Improvement of the unit test base,
- Updating code documentation for developed components
- Participation in code reviews, performing cross-tests.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Education: Engineering degree.
- Experience: Experience in software development, ideally C++ applications or in the medical field.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in C++ language and more generally object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of MVC architecture and design patterns.
- Understanding of software architecture and parallelization of calculations
- Knowledge of Docker and Gitlab would be appreciated.
