Calc Programmer

We are looking for an individual who can work effectively in a team environment in an agile environment where they will work closely with tax analysts, quality control specialists, service teams and the platform development team. This individual will bring their expertise to the Corporate Tax team, where they will translate tax specifications into computer code, thereby maintaining the quality and compliance of our applications, which are already highly recognized in the marketplace.

Must Have

• Analyze tax specifications and program the corresponding informatics solutions.
• Perform the required unit tests (integration tests).
• Answer questions from tax analysts and propose informatics solutions or guidelines to follow.
• Optimize the calculation code and document the changes made.
• Collaborate with other development departments for the implementation of new functionalities and report any defects in the platform.
• Participate in preliminary discussions during the integration of a new form or new functionality to guide the team towards the optimal technical design.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of release management software such as Git and SourceTree is an asset.
• French-English bilingualism.

Main responsibilities:

Position requirements:

• College diploma (DEC) in programming or Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Experience in VBA programming.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages Delphi and/or C#.
• Ability to work in a team in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Rigor and concern for quality.

• Ability to assess risks and solve problems.
• Autonomy.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Adaptability and willingness to work overtime during release periods.

Assets:
