Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking a CDL B Local Route Driver to join their team. This role involves safely operating and maintaining a company CDL vehicle, loading and transporting goods, and delivering timely customer orders while preparing accurate paperwork. The ideal candidate will be at least 21, hold a valid Class A/B CDL, and have a good driving record. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and carrying.
Must have:
  • Operate and maintain company CDL vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Load, transport, and drive without assistance
  • Deliver timely customer orders and prepare accurate paperwork and records
  • Minimum age 21 with a valid Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License or Non CDL Driver’s License and good driving record
  • Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical
  • Demonstrate safe, efficient driving skills and maintain all security procedures
  • Exhibit strong customer service and verbal communication
  • Ability to carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs, ladders
  • Ability to lift at least 70 pounds; push/pull bins 25 to 350 pounds
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time

PAY: $ 22.00 - 24.50 per hour (Paid biweekly) Depending on experience

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

HOURS: 7:00am - Until Route Completion

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain company CDL vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Load, transport, and drive without assistance
  • Deliver timely customer orders and prepare accurate paperwork and records

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age 21 with a valid Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License or Non CDL Driver’s License and good driving record
  • At least one year of route transportation experience preferred
  • Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical
  • Demonstrate safe, efficient driving skills and maintain all security procedures
  • Exhibit strong customer service and verbal communication
  • Carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs, ladders
  • Lift at least 70 pounds; push/pull bins 25 to 350 pounds, average weight 170 pounds
  • Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
