Job Description

This full-time CE Functional Consultant role focuses on implementing and deploying Microsoft Dynamics CE. Responsibilities include analyzing front office processes, gathering client requirements, performing gap analysis, and configuring the application. The role also involves creating technical specifications, designing business process integrations, training clients on Microsoft Dynamics CE, developing project plans, and providing technical support to CRM clients.
Must Have:
  • Implement and deploy Microsoft Dynamics CE.
  • Analyze front office processes (sales, marketing, customer service).
  • Gather and understand client functional requirements.
  • Perform gap analysis for Microsoft Dynamics CE.
  • Configure applications using Microsoft Dynamics CRM tools.
  • Identify creative workarounds without custom code.
  • Understand functional capabilities and limitations.
  • Create technical specifications.
  • Design and integrate business processes and data flows.
  • Train client personnel on Microsoft Dynamics CE.
  • Develop high level project work plans.
  • Provide technical support to CRM clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement and deploy Microsoft Dynamics CE
  • Analyze front office processes (sales, marketing and customer service) to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Gather and understand client functional requirements
  • Perform gap analysis between a client’s requirements and the functionality within Microsoft Dynamics CE
  • Configure the application to meet a client’s requirements using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customization Tool, Workflow Tool, or SDK
  • Identify creative workarounds to meet requirements without the development of custom code
  • Understand the functional capabilities and limitations for out of the box functionality as well as custom code
  • Create technical specifications
  • Design and integrate business processes and data flows between CRM applications and other applications, such as back office/ERP applications
  • Train client personnel on the usage and administration of Microsoft Dynamics CE (functional user training and technical training)
  • Develop high level project work plans
  • Provide technical support to existing CRM clients
