The Chief Accountant will lead the accounting team, ensuring financial accounts comply with Moroccan standards and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in both MGAAP and USGAAP. Responsibilities include managing tax applications, maintaining auditor and banking relationships, supervising daily cash flow, and ensuring timely supplier payments. The role also involves updating financial procedures, providing guidance within the Finance Department, and contributing to internal control policies, ensuring revenue accounts meet international standards, and managing debtor positions and group reporting.

Must Have:- Manages the Accounting team and ensures completion of financial accounts in accordance with Moroccan accounting standards.
- Generates monthly financial reporting file after necessary accruals and analysis of major gaps.
- Prepares quarterly financial statements in MGAAP and USGAAP.
- Prepares annual financial reports (in MGAAP and USGAAP).
- Prepares financial information (ETIC), annual tax applications and payment.
- Maintains relationships with auditors so they can complete their mission without reserves.
- Validates and process monthly tax applications (VAT, Withholding tax).
- Supervises and controls the daily bank & cash situation.
- Ensures payments on time for all suppliers.
- Supervises and controls bank accounting and bank reconciliations for all banks.
- Prepares annual tax applications (advance tax, professional tax).
- Develops and maintains relationships with banking.
- Update charts of accounts and finance procedure.
- Provides guidance and support to others in the Finance Department.
- Contributes to the development of internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Ensures completion of Revenue accounts in accordance with international accounting standards.
- Controls the payments receipt.
- Monitor debtors position of the company.
- Manage contract with supplier with respect of local legal.
- Manage monthly and quarterly group reporting FDM, HFM and different Schedule.
- CARS reconciliation.
