Client Solutions Platform Architect

Join Nasdaq's client solutions team, collaborating to establish premier market solutions for trading and post-trade systems. This role involves taking ownership of solution architecture, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, documenting non-functional aspects, and managing identified gaps. You will present technical aspects to clients, enabling informed decisions. We seek an experienced software engineer or architect with a strong ability in technical planning, architecture development, and specification review, skilled in leading cross-functional teams and ensuring product compatibility across technologies.

Must Have

• Proven experience as a software engineer or architect

• Experience defining system requirements and analyzing complex systems
• Effective communicator for technical concepts

Good to Have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Podman, Kubernetes)
• Background in building enterprise-grade, high-availability solutions across On-Prem, Hybrid, or Cloud environments
• Solid understanding of distributed system architectures

In this team, we are in the forefront of collaborating with our clients when it comes to establishing premier market solutions for trading and post-trade systems. We are a diversified team with colleagues who have several decades of experience and competencies. We need additional member to strengthen the team with your own outstanding touch. In this role, you will take ownership of the solution architecture and ensure that the provided solution is built for purpose and that the non-functional aspect is documented and that any gaps found are identified and managed. You will present and discuss the technical aspects of the solution in a way so our clients understand and can take educated decisions in all technical matters.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience including several years as a software engineer or architect.
• Confirmed experience crafting IT architecture solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Strong ability in technical planning, architecture development, and specification review.
• Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with clients on architecture strategy.
• Ability to ensure product/service compatibility across technologies for integrated solutions.
• Experience in defining system requirements and analyzing complex systems.
• Effective communicator, able to present technical concepts clearly to both internal and external partners.

It Would Be Great If You Have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Podman, Kubernetes).
• Background in building enterprise-grade, high-availability solutions across On-Prem, Hybrid, or Cloud environments.
