This is an opportunity for a Clinical Sales Professional to join Philips in Melbourne, managing the Coronary Devices portfolio across Victoria and Tasmania. The role involves servicing existing customers and expanding market share, leveraging clinical knowledge and a network of key opinion leaders in Interventional Cardiology. The specialist will drive sales revenue, build business relationships, provide clinical and technical support, and develop territory strategies for innovative medical devices.
Must have:
  • Driving sales revenue in your territory
  • Building high-level business relationships both internally and externally
  • Keeping track of current and future market trends and feeding them back to the business
  • Delivering clinical and technical support to customers including training around the effective application of our products
  • Hosting company sponsored educational events
  • Identifying and building strategic relationships with KOL’s within the market
  • Developing and executing territory/account strategies
  • Submitting tenders and maintaining an accurate and relevant sales funnel for all sales leads
  • Extensive experience, whether clinical or sales, within Interventional Cardiology with applications in Coronary Physiology and / or Coronary Intravascular Imaging
  • Experience within the Medical Device Industry

An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Sales Professional to join the team in Melbourne, managing our Coronary Devices portfolio across Victoria and Tasmania. Philips’ Coronary Device portfolio is a new extremely exciting area of our business, with massive potential, and the opportunity for you to make a strategic impact on the overall success of our Image Guided Therapy business in ANZ.

Well known for your clinical knowledge and exceptional customer and stakeholder management skills, you will be tasked with servicing current customers and expanding Philips’ market share within your territory. As an expert within Interventional Cardiology, with extensive exposure to the Cath Lab environment, you will have the opportunity to leverage your network of key opinion leaders in this area.

You will report to the Segment Leader for Coronary, and work alongside an experienced and enthusiastic team, committed to providing the very best service to our organization and our customers. More broadly you will be working as part of the Philips Healthcare team, and have daily interactions with internal stakeholders from across the business.

Every day will offer new and exciting challenges, selling some of the Healthcare Industry's most innovative devices and solutions. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving sales revenue in your territory
  • Building high-level business relationships both internally and externally, keeping track of current and future market trends and feeding them back to the business;
  • Delivering clinical and technical support to customers including training around the effective application of our products and hosting company sponsored educational events.
  • Identifying and building strategic relationships with KOL’s within the market;
  • Developing and executing territory/account strategies
  • Submitting tenders and maintaining an accurate and relevant sales funnel for all sales leads.

You’re the right fit if

  • Extensive experience, whether clinical or sales, within Interventional Cardiology with applications in Coronary Physiology and / or Coronary Intravascular Imaging
  • Experience within the Medical Device Industry
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial skill set to get things started
  • Collaborative team mindset
  • Creative and innovative thinker who is action orientated and results focused and leads by example
