We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Data Analyst with deep expertise in SQL, Databricks, and healthcare data transformations. This role is pivotal in driving advanced data analysis, rule creation, and workflow mapping across complex healthcare datasets and systems.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Logic Rule Creation
- Perform advanced data analysis using Databricks, LLMs, and other tools to extract and transform complex healthcare datasets.
- Design and implement sophisticated data rules and logic within the Databricks environment.
- Reconcile and compare data across multiple sources, including healthcare information systems.
- Develop advanced data slicing techniques to uncover actionable insights.
- Rule Definition & Implementation
- Document data rules and transformation processes for implementation by the Data Intelligence Layer team.
- Create reproducible methodologies for data validation and verification.
- Healthcare Workflow Analysis
- Analyze and map complex healthcare workflows across diverse care settings.
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Translate clinical data into meaningful, actionable insights.
Skills
Must have
- 7+ years as a clinical analyst in a health tech company working directly with patient clinical records.
- 5+ years of SQL (or equivalent) experience analyzing clinical data.
- 5+ years working with clinical terminology: ICD10, RxNorm, CPT, LOINC, SnoMed.
- 5+ years defining and executing clinical data quality improvement processes.
- Deep understanding of healthcare workflows across acute, ambulatory, and long-term care settings.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data types: clinical notes, lab results, imaging, medications, vital signs, claims data.
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with FHIR
- Experience with data quality frameworks
- Experience with clinical care quality
- Experience with Python
