Job Description

Join the APC (Automation Platforms & Cloud) department at Thales's Vélizy campus. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud and hybrid infrastructures, automating CI/CD processes, and collaborating with development teams. You will ensure service availability, proactively resolve issues, and contribute to DevOps improvements. The ideal candidate has a Bac+5 in computer science with expertise in Linux, CI/CD tools, container orchestration, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and monitoring tools. A good command of English is essential.
Must have:
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud and hybrid/on-premise infrastructures.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management processes (CI/CD).
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize the application lifecycle and ensure continuous delivery.
  • Set up monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Ensure the availability and performance of services.
  • Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure problems.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Document processes and configurations.
  • Be proactive in proposing evolutions for infrastructure and tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
  • Significant experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Powershell).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Team spirit, autonomy, and sense of initiative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good command of English.

Within the APC (Automation Platforms & Cloud) department, you will join a dynamic team passionate about innovation, security, and performance.

Your main missions will be:

  • Design, implement, and maintain our cloud and hybrid/on-premise infrastructures.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management processes (CI/CD).

Your Profile

You are a graduate with a Bac+5 in computer science (Engineering School or Master's) with a specialization in DevOps, Cloud, or Systems.

You have the following skills:

  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps)
  • Significant experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Powershell)
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Team spirit, autonomy, and sense of initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

A good command of English is essential to interact effectively with our international teams and partners.

A CSP certification would be a plus.
