The Cloud Security Lead is responsible for leading comprehensive security assessments, overseeing threat evaluations and tool effectiveness, ensuring security awareness, resolving complex issues, mentoring teams, optimizing performance and costs, managing incidents and vulnerabilities, and fostering close collaboration with the business and security teams. The role resolves complex security issues for the business or customers, supporting optimal use of tools. The role drives continuous improvement in our cloud security posture by integrating security measures. The role builds strong relationships with the customers and collaborates with security teams to ensure effective security management.
Your role:
- Leads thorough security assessments, thereby ensuring the robustness and resilience of the solution against potential threats and vulnerabilities especially on the cloud
- Oversees evaluations of emerging threats and tools and evaluates relevant security tooling and potential attack vectors
- Ensures the implementation of security awareness initiatives by promoting best practices, fostering a culture of vigilance and informing about security policies, potential threats in securing assets and data.
- Resolves complex security issues from the business or customer, ensuring adequate responses while supporting optimal use of current security tools and practices to meet their needs.
- Drives continuous improvement to enhance the security posture of our cloud products and services by identifying vulnerabilities and integrating security measures to ensure protection.
- Mentors teams and leads - enhancing their skillsets through targeted coaching to meet specific security objectives, drive performance metrics, and ensure alignment with both individual and collective security goals.
- Optimizes and reviews operational performance and enables the business to effectively manage and control related costs, optimizing both efficiency and financial expenditures in collaboration with FinOps
- Resolves complex and moderate security incidents and breaches by analyzing the nature of the threats, coordinating with relevant teams to contain and mitigate the impact, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Evaluates the risks linked to identified security vulnerabilities by analyzing their potential impact, and recommends effective mitigation strategies to address and reduce these risks.
- Builds a close relationship with the customers, working collaboratively with Sector Security teams and Security Infrastructure to ensure alignment and effective security management.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in areas such as Security Architecture, Network Security, Cybersecurity Technology, Information Security or equivalent
- Experience in cloud and/or application security
- Possess strong knowledge of cloud architectures and security best practices
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
- Show proficiency in secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10
- Have at least one hands on experience participating in security compliance (industry regulation, ISO27001, SOC2)
- Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Security)
- Experience with healthcare industry security requirements
- Expertise in cloud-native security tools
- Strong open source culture, and “automation first” mindset.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
