Job Summary
As the Commercial Marketing Manager – Digital Products, you will drive the success of Smartcore and Smartcore Lead Insights. You will support the Digital Sales team by generating new sales leads, reengaging lapsed customers, and retaining existing accounts. Leading a team of two Commercial Marketing Executives, you will ensure the marketing needs of the entire digital products spectrum are met. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with a dynamic personality and a passion for delivering results, collaborating with various teams and reporting to the Head of Commercial Marketing.
Must Have
- Develop and implement commercial marketing strategy
- Generate high-quality leads for Digital Sales team
- Partner with Digital Sales to align campaigns with revenue goals
- Ensure brand, sales, and marketing consistency
- Design and deliver multi-channel campaigns (web, SEO, email, PPC/display, print, telemarketing, event marketing)
- Develop lead nurture campaigns
- Set up and manage marketing campaigns in Salesforce
- Oversee data segmentation and analysis
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and agencies for campaign execution
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance
- Manage commercial marketing budget and report ROI
- Develop testing plans for campaign refinement
- Create sales assets (videos, brochures, infographics, social media posts)
- Manage, guide, and develop Marketing Executives
- 3+ years of B2B lead generation marketing experience
- Proven team management experience
- Full fluency in English
Good to Have
- Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
- Familiarity with international, matrix organizations
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools (Eloqua, Asana, Monday.com)
- Knowledge of project management tools (Eloqua, Asana, Monday.com)

This role is based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands Office
As the Commercial Marketing Manager – Digital Products, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Smartcore and Smartcore Lead Insights. You will support the Digital Sales team by generating new sales leads, reengaging lapsed customers, and retaining existing accounts. Leading a team of two Commercial Marketing Executives, you will ensure the marketing needs of the entire digital products spectrum are met.
This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated individual with a dynamic personality and a passion for delivering results. You will report to the Head of Commercial Marketing and collaborate with stakeholders across Digital Sales, Content, Digital, Delivery, and Marketing teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Strategy
Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Marketing to design and execute a commercial marketing strategy that raises awareness and generates high-quality leads for the Digital Sales team.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams
Partner with the Digital Sales team to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and create marketing campaigns that align with revenue goals.
- Ensure Alignment Across Teams
Work closely with Digital and Commercial Directors to ensure consistency in brand, sales, and marketing efforts.
- Create Multi-Channel Campaigns
Design and deliver campaigns across various channels, including web, SEO, email, PPC/display, print, telemarketing, and event marketing, to drive superior Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
- Lead Nurture Campaigns
Develop campaigns that enhance lead conversion rates and drive engagement.
- Leverage Salesforce
Set up and manage marketing campaigns in Salesforce, ensuring lead effectiveness and tracking.
- Data Management
Oversee data segmentation and analysis to inform campaign strategies.
- Collaborate on Campaign Execution
Work with copywriters, designers, and external agencies to deliver impactful campaigns, from briefing to reporting and optimization.
- Monitor and Optimize Campaigns
Track campaign performance against engagement and delivery targets, continuously seeking ways to improve results.
- Manage Budgets
Oversee the commercial marketing budget, ensuring effective spend across channels and reporting on ROI.
- Testing and Optimization
Develop detailed testing plans and milestones to refine campaign strategies.
- Create Sales Assets
Deliver creative assets such as videos, brochures, infographics, and social media posts to support sales efforts.
- Team Leadership
Manage, guide, and develop two Marketing Executives, ensuring the team delivers on all commercial marketing needs for digital products.
Qualifications

Skills Required:
- Experience
3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on B2B lead generation.
- Education
Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Team Management
Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- International Experience
Familiarity with working in an international, matrix organization.
- Attention to Detail
Accuracy and meticulousness in all aspects of work.
Hard Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of marketing automation and project management tools, such as Eloqua, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Experience with data segmentation tools (Treasure Data), CMS systems (Adobe Experience Manager), web analytics (Adobe Analytics), A/B testing platforms (Adobe Target), and design tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, Canva, Turtl).
- Strong understanding of all digital channels and their metrics.
- Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and delivering marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
- Full fluency in English is required.
