Job Summary
Trek Bicycle is seeking a Retail Marketing Specialist for the DACH region (100%, m/f/d) to start on February 1, 2026, or by agreement. This role involves leading the implementation of retail marketing activities for key accounts and independent bicycle dealers, including campaign rollouts, content, and POS materials. The specialist will manage local marketing requests, conduct quarterly reviews, and oversee local ambassador programs. Key responsibilities also include developing annual marketing plans for Direct Owned Trek Stores (DOTS), managing local budgets, and supporting CRM initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing or a related field and experience in retail marketing, online marketing, and strong analytical skills.
Must Have
- Lead implementation of retail marketing activities for key accounts and IBDs
- Develop Trek marketing plans with partners
- Act as central contact for Store Managers, District Managers, Territory Managers, and Marketing team
- Process local marketing requests
- Conduct quarterly marketing reviews focused on customer frequency and sales
- Manage and coach dealers on the lead-list system
- Manage and activate local Ambassador programs
- Act as market expert for DACH for media/brand partnerships and product launches
- Develop annual marketing plans for DOTS
- Manage local marketing budgets
- Oversee organic social media activities and advise dealers
- Support CRM measures like mailing lists and content creation
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communication
- Professional experience in Retail Marketing, Key Account Management, or Sales
- Practical experience in online marketing (Social Media, Newsletter, Website, Campaigns)
- Strong analytical skills
- High organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region
- Very good German and English language skills

Marketing DACH Employee:in - Retail Marketing Specialist 100% (m/f/d)

Your main tasks
- You make marketing tangible: Leading the implementation of retail marketing activities in your area for Key Accounts and IBDs – from campaign rollouts to content and POS material, up to coaching dealers. Together with important partners, you develop Trek marketing plans and find smart ways for joint actions, always in line with brand guidelines, ROI, and inventory levels.
- Your network, your stage: You are the central contact person for Store Managers (SMs), District Managers (DMs), Territory Managers, and the marketing team. Regular on-site visits are part of this to strengthen relationships and initiate marketing actions.
- Local inquiries? You check and process all marketing inquiries from your area and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- You conduct quarterly marketing reviews for each store – with a focus on measures that boost customer frequency and sales.
- Lead-List-Champion: You know our lead-list system for the most important customers, coach dealers on its application, and promote the use of the tool.
- You manage and activate local Ambassador programs in coordination with the stores, cultivate relationships with our brand ambassadors, and bring the bike community together.
- Market expert for DACH: You are the contact person for media and brand partnerships and support product launches.
- Trek University: You keep our internal training platform alive and ensure engagement.
DOTS specific tasks
- You develop an annual marketing plan for each DOTS, cleverly utilizing budgets and maximizing impact.
- You keep an eye on local marketing budgets – always within the agreed framework.
- You are responsible for the process for organic social media activities and provide advice to our dealers if necessary.
- You help expand local CRM measures such as mailing lists and create relevant communication content, aligned with the marketing strategy.
Job Profile
As a Retail Marketing Specialist, you are the first point of contact for all DOTS (Direct Owned Trek Stores) in your region and for our network of IBDs (Independent Bicycle Dealers). Your mission: marketing planning and implementation that not only looks good but also has a real impact – more awareness, more customers in the store, and ultimately more bikes on the road. Together with the Marketing Manager, you ensure that the best ideas from the DOTS also reach the broader dealer network.
- Completed degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or a similar field.
- Professional experience in Retail Marketing, Key Account Management, or Sales – ideally in the bicycle industry or a comparable technical consumer goods environment.
- Practical experience in online marketing, especially in the areas of social media, newsletter communication, website maintenance, and campaign planning and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills: interpretation of key figures, derivation of measures, and creation of meaningful reports.
- High organizational skills and confident multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region to support and activate retail partners.
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken; French language skills are an advantage.
