Job Description

The Communications and Brand Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of communication and brand campaigns, tracking progress and analyzing results to enhance organizational visibility and reputation.

Your Role:

  • Participates in the execution of communication and brand campaigns and other activities, tracking progress and analyzing results, to achieve desired goals and enhance organizational visibility and reputation.

  • Establishes operational objectives and work plans, guiding teams to achieve strategic communication and brand goals effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.

  • Strategize and plan various communication and brand programs for Philips in META, with a focus on KSA as a key market in the region.

  • Take ownership to improve visibility and help build Philips reputation through improved brand positioning – externally and internally

  • Support PR and Media engagements for Philips in the META zone, working with Head of Communications and engaging with PR agencies.

  • Support key external initiatives on Philips Website and social media – product launches, announcements, talent branding, etc.

  • Improve effectiveness of internal events, townhalls, engagement campaigns and social media (Yammer/ Viva Engage)

  • Support the digital strategy for communications, including social media, website, digital events. Prior experience of working on social media tools like Sprinklr, LinkedIn, etc. will be an advantage

  • Engage with industry bodies for events, and support spokespersons with contest and training.

  • Engage with PR agency and Comms head to execute annual strategic plans and detailed objectives for brand and communications function

  • Establish compliance with brand guidelines and Philips Brand best practices for internal/external communications, website, media & other events within office locations and/or other venues.

  • Strategize, plan, develop messaging for and implement trackable internal and external communication and digital campaigns

  • Engage a team constituting of members from various functions that help out as needed with Branding, Communications & Digital tasks

  • Work with external agencies and event vendors to achieve optimal execution efficiency for communications, media and other events related work while ensuring delivery on budget, on time & on brand requirements

You are the right fit if:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Media and Trend Analysis, Internal and External Communications, Content Creation, Brand Management, Digital Marketing preferably in Healthcare or Technology domain or equivalent. Master’s degree in business administration, Communications, Marketing, Brand Management, or equivalent is a strong asset to have

  • Experience in multinational firms in communication departments is preferable, agency background in communications, advertising, media, social media is also welcomed

  • English & Arabic (fluent in written & spoken)

  • Stakeholder management with cross functional teams as well as management team / self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management

  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally

  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Superior project management and time management skills

  • Responds well under pressure with strict time limit
