An Account Manager for medical devices, specifically ultrasound diagnostic equipment, will engage with doctors, nurses, and technicians in large hospitals across Japan. The role involves introducing, proposing, explaining, and selling high-quality, world-leading products to improve the quality of medical care. This position requires formulating and executing sales strategies within an assigned area, responding to customer needs, and driving business growth.

Medical Device Sales (Ultrasound Equipment)

You will primarily be responsible for sales of ultrasound diagnostic equipment used for imaging diagnostics to large hospitals such as university hospitals, core hospitals, and national centers, engaging in negotiations with doctors, nurses, and technicians, aiming to contribute to improving the quality of medical care in Japan.

Job Responsibilities:

Considering your experience first, you will be in charge of sales for our medical devices. We are looking for staff who can actively contribute to further expanding our high-quality, world-leading products in the Japanese market. Specifically, you will visit hospitals and distributors to introduce, propose, explain, and sell products.

Sales Style:

The main job is sales activities for customers within your assigned area. You will formulate sales strategies for the area and execute them based on approval from your supervisor.

You will listen to customer needs and arrange better proposals. Therefore, it is an environment where you can demonstrate your abilities by leading yourself. You can demonstrate your skills and challenge larger businesses.

In addition, a company car and mobile environment are provided so that you can work directly from home or directly to the client.

Experience/Skills:

Sales experience with large radiation equipment and ultrasound diagnostic equipment is highly welcome!!!

  • Sales experience in the medical device industry
  • Ordinary driver's license required

Language:

  • English: Reading and writing level (or no resistance. E-learning and manual reading will occur)
  • Japanese: Native level (or extremely fluent, including reading and writing Japanese)

Application Requirements:

  • Contract Period: No fixed term
  • Probationary Period: Yes (generally 6 months from the date of joining)
  • Work Location: Osaka Branch

Osaka-fu, Osaka-shi, Chuo-ku, Kyutaro-machi 2-4-11 Kurabo Annex Building 11F

Scope of change: All company locations. Possibility of transfer to any company location due to reassignment.

  • Working Hours: 9:00-17:30 Break time: Generally 12:00-13:00
  • Holidays: Every Saturday (scheduled holiday) / Sunday (legal holiday), national holidays, New Year holidays (December 29 - January 4)
  • Leave: Annual paid leave: up to 20 days in the first year (20 days from 2nd to 5th year / 25 days from 6th year onwards), Care Leave (10 days per year), Sick Leave (up to 30 days per year), etc.
  • Overtime Work: Yes. Deemed working hours system (outside business hours work system)
  • Deemed working allowance will be paid, assuming 9 hours of work per day.
  • Holiday work allowance will be paid for work on holidays.
  • Late-night work allowance will be paid for late-night work.
  • Salary: Basic annual salary 5.5 to 7.5 million yen + bonus incentive 30%
  • Incentive paid once a year in March (varies depending on company performance, department performance, and individual evaluation)
  • For those joining mid-year, daily pro-rata calculation applies for the eligible period.
  • Insurance: Social insurance (Employees' Pension Insurance, Health Insurance), Labor insurance (Employment Insurance, Workers' Accident Compensation Insurance)
  • Retirement Benefit System: Two-tier system of lump-sum retirement payment and defined contribution pension.
