As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead a program team end-to-end, guiding project managers, shaping strategy, and managing dependencies and risks to achieve program objectives. You will also participate in design workshops, conduct FMEA, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires a Master's degree in a technical field and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Your role:

You will End-to-End lead a program team to deliver.

As a Senior Program Manager, you play a critical role to guide the project managers within the program or across teams, shape the program strategy and program phasing, manage the key dependencies and risks, and maintain relationships with key program stakeholders, to deliver on the program objectives.

  • Defining the program charter as well as the objectives/decision criteria and the scope of the strategic program from relevant stakeholders. This in order to clearly communicate the assignment to all program stakeholders.
  • Forming cross function team (approx. 6-7 team related to integration) for aligning the roadmap, deliverables and executing the project.
  • Proficient in formulating an integrated plan, getting cross functional teams (atleast 6-7 teams) for respective deliverables
  • Understand and bridge gap between expectation of delivery from Business vs most possibly realistic plans. Influence the teams with possible data to negotiate for revised plans
  • Meeting the defined KPI’s from stakeholders, managing dependencies and risks that interfere with the targets, and prioritizing within the program.
  • Participate in design workshop, conduct FMEA with all relevant teams and track execute FMEA actions to closure
  • Work with China & Global teams for program execution.
  • Identifies the risks of the project (f.e. specs, costs, planning, etcetera) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the projects to closure
  • Defining and maintaining skills & competencies of the project managers within the program.
  • Reporting the program status and program KPI’s on a regular basis in order to identify conflicts in the program portfolio and to enable effective decision-making by the BPT;
  • Setting up and maintaining strong and open relationships with the China Program Manager, other internal stakeholders as well as business - in order to maintain management focus and to assure continuous support for the program.
  • Ensuring that the business case includes all cross-functional aspects and impacts.
  • Monitoring the progress of the ongoing projects within the program while preparing and shaping the program project funnel in collaboration with other key stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous improvement in the way of working and applicable QMS processes.

You're the right fit if:

You have a Master or higher degree in a technical field, academic level of thinking, technical and strategic affinity, knowledge of project management methods, techniques and tools like (SAFe) Agile;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English. Ability to write program documentation and reports in English language.
  • You have a minimum of 15 years relevant working experience, of which at least 5 years are being spent in a comparable role – in a technically complex environment.
  • Strong quality mindset: sound knowledge of project management documentation practices
  • Knowledge on ISMS, MLPS certification would be helpful
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic great teammate who can drive actions, eager, ambitious and self-propelling – being able to provide solutions in a challenging & complex environment.
  • You have demonstrated to reliably and accurately deliver on assigned tasks, keeping program team members to their commitment by giving constructive feedback and guidance.
  • You have a track record of providing solutions and driving continuous improvement in a challenging & complex environment.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
