As a Product Manager at Philips, you will lead the strategic direction, innovation, and lifecycle success of a high-impact product portfolio. This role involves blending deep market insight with cross-functional leadership to deliver differentiated solutions that meet serviceability needs and achieve commercial success. You will own the end-to-end product strategy, from ideation to obsolescence, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer expectations, and regulatory standards. Your leadership will influence product roadmaps, go-to-market execution, and portfolio profitability, while fostering a culture of excellence.
Must Have:
  • Define and execute serviceability product strategy.
  • Lead product lifecycle management and roadmap development.
  • Translate business strategy into actionable product plans.
  • Understand customer needs and product direction.
  • Analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and regulatory dynamics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (R&D, marketing, sales, regulatory, operations).
  • Champion Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) and PDLM frameworks.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies.
  • Own business case development and realization.
  • Optimize product cost structures and margins.
  • Lead and mentor Product Managers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards.
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Business, Engineering, or Product Management.
  • Minimum 11 years experience in Product Management.
  • Proven strategic execution skills.
  • Market-focused with strong stakeholder relationship building.
  • Collaborative work in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience characterizing value propositions.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate global teams.

Your role:

As the Product Management, you will drive the strategic direction, innovation, and lifecycle success of a high-impact product portfolio. This role blends deep market insight with cross-functional leadership to deliver differentiated solutions that meet serviceability needs, achieve commercial success, and shape the future of serviceability across subsystems.

You will own the end-to-end product strategy—from ideation to obsolescence—ensuring alignment with business goals, customer expectations, and regulatory standards. Your leadership will influence product roadmaps, go-to-market execution, and portfolio profitability, while fostering a culture of excellence across the product management team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership

  • Define and execute the serviceability product strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead product lifecycle management including roadmap development and obsolescence.
  • Translate business strategy into actionable product plans that drive growth, innovation, and value creation.
  • Define Product Vision

Market & Customer Insight

  • Deeply understand customer needs, product direction.
  • Analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and regulatory dynamics to inform claims strategy and product positioning.
  • Engage with Stakeholders to validate product concepts and amplify market influence.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, regulatory, and operations to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Champion the Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) and Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) frameworks.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies and ensure market readiness across global regions. Portfolio & Financial Management
  • Own business case development and realization for new and existing products.
  • Optimize product cost structures and margins through pricing strategies and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor and enhance portfolio performance across categories, ensuring technical and commercial simplicity.

Team & Talent Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee succession planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and career development.
  • Align team goals with organizational priorities and operational excellence.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
  • Manage cross-Business and Cross region product introduction and optimization roadmaps.
  • Maintain operational efficiency through structured planning and performance tracking.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Product Management or equivalent.
  • Overall 15+ yrs of experience, 11+ years of experience in areas such as Product Management or equivalent.
  • Strategic execution – helping products/businesses achieve strategic objectives.
  • Market-focused / building strategic relationships with key executive stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a matrixed environment, working relationships with various business units
  • Experienced in characterizing value propositions
  • Inspiring and able to motivate a large global team

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
