Must have:
  • Assist with job evaluations, benchmarking, and analysis.
  • Oversee administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to employee benefits.

  • Assist in the smooth running of annual and quarterly compensation cycles.
  • Maintain accurate pay records in HRIS and payroll.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Proven experience in managing compensation and benefits programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Assistant to join our Human Resources team in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both compensation and benefits, with the ability to manage competitive compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Evaluation, Benchmarking and Analysis:
  • Assist with job evaluations and analyses to determine appropriate compensation levels.
  • Assist with benchmarking to support the business with recruitment and retention.
  • Assist with the collation of internal data for survey submissions and legislative reporting requirements.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of and recommend improvements to existing benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to employee benefits.
  • Employee Communication and Support:
  • Communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees and provide support for related inquiries.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compensation and benefits topics.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to address employee concerns and provide solutions.
  • Compensation Administration:
  • Assist in the smooth running of our annual and quarterly compensation cycles.
  • Be responsible for maintaining accurate pay records in our HRIS and payroll.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in the IT industry.
