Job Summary
Autodesk is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and disbursements to vendors, adhering to Autodesk Policy and internal controls. This role involves routine duties such as manual journal entries, account reconciliations, and meeting month-end closing deadlines. The analyst will also resolve invoice discrepancies, answer vendor queries, perform payments, and collaborate with procurement and finance teams. The position requires compliance with company policies, participation in process improvement projects, and initiating automation initiatives to enhance AP processes.
Must Have
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
- Analyze, research, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Answer vendor and internal AP related queries.
- Perform payments as per scheduled timeline.
- Perform month-end closing tasks including reconciliations.
- Work with procurement and finance to clear AP balances.
- Ensure AP balances are reconciled with valid reasons for aged items.
- Comply with applicable company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with Finance team for local tax/statutory audit requirements.
- Prepare reporting schedules and resolve audit issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with SOX.
- Perform routine administrative tasks like filing and archiving.
- Research and initiate automation projects for AP processes.
- Possess a Degree in Accounting.
- Over 5 years of hands-on end-to-end AP experience in MNC.
- High proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and OpenText.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Experience in leading and implementing AP automation projects.
- Ability to converse, read, and write foreign languages (Japanese, French, German).

Autodesk is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst. This role will be in the US and reporting directly to one of the Managers of Global Accounts Payable located in Singapore. You are required to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and disbursements to vendors by Autodesk Policy and internal controls. This role will include routine duties such as performing manual journal entries, account reconciliations, meeting month-end closing deadlines and KPIs.
Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst Job Descriptions
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices per SLA
- Analyze, research and resolve invoice discrepancies with appropriate internal and external resources
- Answer vendor and internal customers AP related queries
- Perform payment as per the scheduled payment timeline
- Perform month-end closing tasks which include reconciling accounts payable relating to GL accounts, analysis of aging items, clearing of suspense accounts, and journal posting
- Work with related parties (procurement and finance) to ensure the clearing of Accounts Payable balances
- Ensure accounts payable natured balances are reconciled and provide a valid reason for aged items
- Comply with applicable company policies and procedures
- Performs a variety of AP tasks and projects as necessary
- Participate in process improvement projects as requested
- Liaise with the extended Finance team to fulfil the local tax/statutory audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare reporting schedules and resolve audit issues identified by auditors
- Ensure strict compliance with SOX
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, archiving, and retrieval of invoices
- Research and initiate automation projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal AP processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting
- Above 5 years of hands-on end-to-end accounts payable processes in MNC environment
- High proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and OpenText
- High proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Experience in leading and implementing AP automation projects will be preferred
- Must be able to converse, read and write in English fluently
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, fast-paced environment and extended hours during month-end period
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to converse, read and write foreign languages such as Japanese, French or German will be preferred
