Job Description

As a Senior Compensation Program Manager, you will report to the Head of Global Compensation and be responsible for the design, development, and execution of corporate compensation programs. This includes job evaluations, salary surveys, and the administration of salary, equity, and variable pay. You will advise HR business partners, maintain compensation materials, perform financial analysis, and lead global compensation processes, contributing to the enhancement of base, equity, and variable pay programs.

  • Provide consulting along with research and analytical support.
  • Scope includes job evaluations and classifications, salary surveys and the development of salary, equity, and variable pay administration processes.
  • Act as an advisor to HR business partners regarding compensation-related topics.
  • Develop analyses and solutions to meet specific needs.
  • Maintain written compensation materials such as policies, guidelines and program summaries.
  • Perform analysis and forecasting for purposes of costing, financial accruals and reporting.
  • Participate in the review and development of global compensation programs.
  • Lead global compensation processes.
  • Strong program management, analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, team and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and listening abilities.
  • Perseverance, great attention to detail and compliance mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 10 - 12 years of progressively responsible Compensation experience in a global company.
  • Experience in full cycle compensation program management: project plan, communications, analyses, system testing, implementation, documents/materials.
  • Experience with broad-based global compensation required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred).

Among your day-to-day responsibilities, you will act as an advisor to HR business partners regarding compensation-related topics and develop analyses and solutions to meet specific needs. You will maintain written compensation materials such as policies, guidelines and program summaries as well as perform analysis and forecasting for purposes of costing, financial accruals and reporting. Participate in the review and development of global compensation programs including the execution and enhancement of base, equity, and variable pay programs as well as lead global compensation processes.

Qualifications:

To execute this job successfully an individual must have strong program management, analytical and mathematical skills, exceptional interpersonal, team and communication (verbal and written) skills as well as strong influencing, negotiation and listening abilities are required. Must have perseverance, great attention to detail and compliance mindset in a high intensity, fast paced environment. Willingness and flexibility to work in all facets of compensation from administration to strategy to get the job done. Ability to operate independently or in a team as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 10 - 12 years of progressively responsible Compensation experience in a global company
  • Experience in full cycle compensation program management: project plan, communications, analyses, system testing, implementation, documents/materials
  • Experience with broad-based global compensation required
  • Executive compensation and mergers & acquisition experience preferred
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required
