Job Description

The Principal Facilities Electrical Engineer will manage all power distribution systems from substation to distribution panel for manufacturing equipment. This role involves providing conceptual and detailed designs for power distribution and manufacturing tool installation projects, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and contractors. Key responsibilities include maintaining electrical systems, developing power reliability programs, inspecting construction, supporting system operations, and analyzing outages. The engineer will also ensure safety of power systems per NFPA70e.

Must Have:
  • Manage all power distribution systems for all site activities from Sub Station to distribution panel for Manufacturing equipment.
  • Provide conceptual and detailed designs for power distribution & manufacturing tool installation projects.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Systems such as the electrical distribution, transformers, breakers, generators, UPS, etc.
  • Interface with site maintenance electricians for preventive maintenance and upgrade/shutdown activities.
  • Develop power reliability and power quality programs.
  • Inspect specific construction and/or maintenance work to ensure adherence to design plans.
  • Support system start-up, system optimization, and shut down functions.
  • Analyze and determine root cause of factory outages due to system failures.
  • Manage safety of delivered power systems per NFPA70e, etc.
  • Graduate of an Accredited Electrical Systems BS or MS Engineering Program.
  • 2-5 years of applicable industrial and semiconductor manufacturing related system design experience.
  • Interest in Power Distribution and Electrical Safety.
  • Must be a U.S. Worker (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government).

Job Summary:
