This role involves troubleshooting and repairing hardware and process failures on various Dry Etch tools, including AMAT, Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini, and LAM. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, using SPC charts and FabGuard FDC software for performance evaluation, and documenting maintenance activities. The technician will also manage spare parts inventory and assist engineers with equipment upgrades. Key challenges include resolving complex hardware and process issues and managing multiple equipment downs. The role requires strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills, with a minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
Must Have:- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures for AMAT, Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini & LAM Dry Etch tools
- Perform preventive maintenance activities
- Use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software
- Document maintenance activities
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Minimum of 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experience
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in an engineering or science discipline
- Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
- Physically capable of standing for long periods of time as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds
- Analytical problem solving and testing skills
