Must have:
  • DEP or DEC in composite materials processing technique
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
  • Perform adjustment, assembly, manufacturing, repair, and modification of complex composite parts and molds
  • Read and interpret work directives, procedures, plans, schematic sketches, and technical drawings
  • Distinguish and know different constituents of composite materials
  • Use specialized control instruments and tools for composite parts
  • Know precision standards and occupational health and safety rules (WHMIS), especially those related to composite materials processing
  • Functional knowledge of French is required

Academic and professional qualifications: D.E.P. or D.E.C. in composite materials processing technique. Any other combination equivalent to the required qualifications will be considered.

Job Profile:

Candidates will be required to perform adjustment, assembly, manufacturing, repair, and modification functions for complex composite parts and molds, according to the conditions, criteria, and specifications required by the position.

Skills:

  • Read and interpret work directives and procedures, plans, schematic sketches, and technical drawings.
  • Perform modification, repair, assembly, lamination, and manufacturing work, particularly for the simulator cockpit, respecting the steps for creating a composite part.
  • Be able to distinguish and know the different constituents of composite materials.
  • Use specialized control instruments and tools specific to composite parts.
  • Produce small occasional sheet metal structure assemblies.
  • Program 3D printing machines and produce ABS parts.
  • Know precision standards as well as occupational health and safety rules, including WHMIS, and particularly those related to composite materials processing.

Practical Experience:

A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

Selection:

Candidates will be selected based on their seniority, provided they are willing, meet the requirements of the posting, and are capable of performing the work satisfactorily in relation to the requirements of the position. Candidates must be members of the Union. Functional knowledge of French is required.
