Geographe Petroleum, recently acquired by Liberty Oil Australia, is seeking a casual Console Operator for their West Busselton service station. The role is fast-paced and varied, involving customer service, sales, safety management, and shop duties including stock management and presentation. There may also be some preparation of hot and cold drinks and foods. The ideal candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic, customer-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to safety.

Geographe Petroleum has been your local distributor in Busselton and surrounding area since 1973 and recently Liberty Oil Australia has acquired the Geographe Petroleum business. We now have an opportunity for a console operator to join the team at the West Busselton service station, 259 Bussell Hwy.

Job Description

A busy service station is looking for a casual console operator to join the friendly team at the Liberty West Busselton. The role is varied and fast paced and includes the following duties:

Main Duties

  • Console – customer service, processing sales, encouraging increased sales through upsell and promotions, processing paperwork
  • Forecourt – managing safety and monitoring for drive-offs
  • Shop - customer service, ensuring stock is full and shop is well presented, unpacking deliveries, stock ordering/receipt of stock
  • Coffee Shop – there may be some preparation of hot & cold drinks and foods

Qualifications

  • Friendly and enthusiastic and focused on exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Ability to work under pressure in a customer facing role
  • Any Barista experience an advantage but happy to teach the right applicant

Hours of work

Rotating roster between the hours of 6am and 7pm, 7 days a week across four 7-hour shifts as a standard week.
