TransUnion seeks a Consultant, Solutions Pricing to drive revenue and margin growth through data-driven pricing initiatives. This role involves developing and executing pricing strategies, managing contract renegotiations, and becoming a thought leader. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, translating complex data into actionable insights. Responsibilities include building and maintaining pricing models, developing dashboards, and mentoring junior colleagues. Must have:
  • 6+ years as a business analyst with strong analytical and project management skills.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools and systems.
  • High analytical aptitude and strong communication skills.

  • Apply strong project and time management skills.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field.
  • Deliver analytic insights and recommendations.
  • Model and manage proactive price increase campaigns.
  • Build, develop, and maintain pricing models and analysis.
  • Turn pricing strategy into actionable working models.
  • Interpret verbal requirements into programmable business requirements.
  • Develop new dashboards, reports, KPIs, and metrics (Tableau knowledge required).
  • Mentor and train junior colleagues, fostering high-performance culture.
  • Participate in interviewing and evaluating new talent.
Good to have:
  • Experience automating and streamlining business processes, using Dremio, including programming languages like R, python, PySpark & SQL
  • Data modeling and experience working with relational databases; customer segmentation and pricing models
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical pricing role where you’ve developed a strong understanding of fundamental pricing principles
  • Proven aptitude to relationship building, experience working in matrixed organizations
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to innovate
  • Available and willing to work through 11am CST US time

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years of experience as a business analyst with a demonstrated analytical skills as well as project management skills with the ability to effectively turn business requirements into solution design.

  • Experience with a range of Business Intelligence tools and systems.
  • High analytical aptitude with good communications skills; the ability to translate data into a relatable story in the form of a compelling presentation

  • Versatile interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels

Impact you’ll make:

In this position, you'll be responsible for supporting both revenue growth and margin management across our US and International Markets. This will include tactical and operations management of contract renegotiations as well as the strategic approach and direction governing pricing decisions. You will be expected to work autonomously to build relationships gaining trust throughout the organization becoming a thought leader and pricing evangelist.

  • You will deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations representing a wide range of backgrounds and levels.
  • Model and manage proactive price increase campaigns working with Sales and Markets teams on strategy
  • Build, develop and maintain pricing models and analysis associated with the monthly Median pricing updates. This task involves some knowledge of the R statistics package.
  • You will have strong analytical and data management skills and be able to turn pricing strategy into actionable working pricing models. You will be able to interpret verbal requirements and turn them into business requirements that can be programmed into PySpark.
  • Develop new dashboards, reports, KPI's and metrics as assigned. Knowledge and experience using Tableau will be required.
  • You will participate in the mentoring and training of junior colleagues, fostering a high-performance culture and cultivating an environment that promotes excellence and reflects the TransUnion brand.
  • You may participate in the interviewing and evaluation of new talent.

Impact You'll Make:

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
