Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Contracts Generalist to join our Commercial Excellence, Deal Operations Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential contractual and operational support to the Sales team, enabling them to focus on transactions by managing the contract process from initiation to finalization. You'll be joining the Deal Operations Center (DOC) Support team, which is dedicated to streamlining standard contractual needs and ensuring smooth transaction processing.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will
- Develop and Administer Routine Contracts: Prepare, review, and issue standard contracts, simple amendments, and standard statements of work (SOWs), ensuring strict adherence to established templates and guidelines.
- Coordinate Internal Contract Processing: Gather necessary documentation and route contracts for all required internal reviews and approvals from departments such as Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations, ensuring all required sign-offs are obtained promptly.
- Ensure Compliance and Data Integrity: Maintain and organize all contract files, records, and databases accurately, and ensure all new work requests are properly received and directed for assignment to facilitate transactions and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in Contract Administration: Several years of experience in contract administration or a relevant internship, demonstrating an understanding of standard contract provisions (e.g., liability, confidentiality, indemnity).
- Foundational Knowledge and Skills: A strong attention to detail, proficiency in reviewing and proofing contractual documents, and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Solid, professional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with internal partners like Sales, Legal, and Product Management.
- Education: A 3-year college degree. Fluency in English (written and oral communication) is mandatory.
