Job Summary

We are seeking a Creative Designer to energize our high-performing marketing team with fresh ideas, robust execution, and a strong sense of ownership. This role involves supporting global campaigns, product launches, and internal initiatives, shaping Nasdaq's visual story across various digital touchpoints. Must Have

  • Design impactful visual assets for digital campaigns, marketing, and presentations
  • Contribute ideas in early creative phases including storyboards and moodboards
  • Act as a guardian of brand integrity by applying and evolving visual guidelines
  • Collaborate with product marketing managers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects independently and balance competing deadlines
  • Possess 5+ years of professional design experience
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Advanced skills in designing impactful presentations (Microsoft 360 Suite, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and storytelling
  • Experience designing for marketing environments (campaigns, product launches, landing pages)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with project management tools (Monday, Jira, Asana)
  • Amenable to work mid shift schedule

Good to Have

  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) like Drupal
  • Background in product marketing, technology, or SaaS environments
  • Understanding of user journeys, funnel stages, and creative impact on performance marketing
  • Good grasp of web technologies (responsive design, SEO, light HTML)
  • Experience developing digital destinations focused on lead conversion or revenue generation
  • Knowledge of UX design principles
  • Art direction experience

Job Description

Creative Development

  • Design impactful visual assets for digital campaigns, in-product marketing, presentations, landing pages, events, advertisement, and other content for both internal and external audiences, ensuring that each asset elevates the brand and supports business objectives.
  • Contribute ideas in early creative phases, including storyboards, moodboards, visual explorations, and layout proposals.
  • Act as a guardian of brand integrity by meticulously applying and evolving visual guidelines in all materials. Collaborate closely with the enterprise brand & design teams to ensure consistent brand representation, aligning creative outputs with established standards and strategic priorities. Foster open communication and teamwork to deliver unified, high-quality visual solutions that reinforce the organization's brand identity across every touchpoint.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with product marketing managers to transform complex concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (product, content, growth, sales, digital, and brand teams) to understand priorities and deliver high-quality creative work.
  • Foster open communication with paired designers by regularly sharing ideas, feedback, and updates to build trust and drive innovative solutions.

Task Management

  • Manage multiple projects independently, ensuring proactive communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Balance competing deadlines and priorities.

Continuous Learning

  • Stay updated on creative trends, design tools, storytelling formats, and design practices relevant to technology and marketing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related degree.
  • 5+ years of professional design experience (agency or in-house).
  • A strong, well-curated portfolio demonstrating versatility in digital design, visual communication, and brand work.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Basic motion/editing in After Effects or Premiere is a plus).
  • Advanced skills in designing impactful presentations that effectively communicate key messages and maintain visual coherence. (Microsoft 360 Suite, specifically PowerPoint)
  • A strong understanding of layout, typography, and storytelling to create engaging designs.
  • Experience designing for marketing environments: campaigns, product launches, landing pages, social media, email, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside non-design partners.
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Monday, Jira, Asana, or similar.
  • Amenable to work mid shift schedule
