As a Creative Group Head, you will lead the development of integrated creative advertising campaigns for internal clients, supervise external agencies, and help produce content for YouTube and social media. You’ll look for bold, unconventional ideas to grow the JetBrains brand and help our marketing and product teams achieve their KPIs. You’ll also mentor and support younger creatives as they grow.
This role requires a strong understanding of developer culture and insights, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience in developing various types of campaigns – from video ads to creative activations, BTL marketing initiatives, conferences, and social media content.
Essentially, you will act as an internal creative agency for JetBrains product teams, as well as brand marketing, HR, and other departments, ultimately taking responsibility for the final creative work seen by our audiences.
As part of our team, you will:
- Help teams define briefs and shape creative direction.
- Develop campaign ideas, write creative presentations, and pitch them to internal clients.
- Prepare creative concepts for research and actively participate in testing.
- Refine concepts based on feedback and testing.
- Oversee the production of campaigns, videos, and other assets.
- Collaborate with internal clients to prepare post-campaign reports and insights.
- Continuously search for fresh, unexpected ways to engage our target audience of developers across channels and messages.
- Provide creative supervision and art direction for external agencies.
- Brainstorm and produce content for JetBrains’ YouTube and social media channels.
- Mentor and guide junior creatives on the team.
- Manage the creative process and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Improve creative workflows and production processes across the company.
- Foster creative literacy and curiosity among marketing teams.
- Build trusting relationships with internal clients and strengthen the reputation of the Creative Lab both inside and outside the company.
We’ll be happy to bring you on board if you:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a creative or digital agency as a Senior Copywriter or Creative Group Head.
- Love to work hands-on: brainstorming, writing, pitching, and producing content.
- Have some experience with software development or technical products.
- Have experience managing a creative team.
- Speak and write English fluently.
- Understand marketing; a background in marketing or communications would be a big plus.
- Enjoy complex, unconventional tasks and working with an informed and critical audience.
- Pay attention to detail and enjoy working with data and insights.
- Know how to defend your ideas but also how to listen and collaborate.
- Take full responsibility for the quality of your work and value craft.
- Use AI tools in your creative process.
- Have strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
