Electronic Arts is seeking an experienced Creative Lead in Seoul, South Korea, to join their Publisher Marketing team. This role involves leading a small team of capture artists, culturalizing global content for Asian markets (Korea, China, Thailand, Vietnam), and developing original creative content for FC Online and FC Mobile. The Creative Lead will ensure brand consistency, provide regional insights, and identify cultural trends to enhance creative experiences.
Must have:
  • Lead a small team or capture artists to deliver in game assets to publishers and EA team
  • Deliver processes to adapt and culturalise global content for Asian markets
  • Develop original creative content for portfolio of titles with priority on FC Online and FC Mobile
  • Ensure all creative assets maintain brand consistency while connecting with local audiences
  • Collaborate with central creative teams to provide regional insights and feedback
  • Identify cultural trends and opportunities to enhance creative experiences
  • Creative output quality and cultural relevance across all target Asian markets
  • Team performance and professional development of direct reports
  • Budget management for regional creative projects
  • Deliver creative assets according to product roadmaps
  • Collaboration with global teams to ensure aligned messaging
  • Influence and educate teams around culturally relevant content for Asia
  • Market-specific creative strategy development
  • Deliver frameworks to understand effectiveness of content both long and short term
  • 5 years of creative leadership experience in gaming, entertainment, or digital media
  • Cultural fluency across Asian markets, Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam
  • Team leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Fluent in both English and Korean
  • Project management abilities

We are looking for an experienced Creative Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Publisher Marketing, you will lead both the culturalization and development of content for our FC Online and FC Mobile titles across Asian markets, with a focus on Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will lead a small team or capture artists to deliver in game assets to our publishers and EA team
  • You will deliver processes to adapt and culturalise global content for Asian markets
  • You will develop original creative content for our portfolio of titles with a priority on FC Online and FC Mobile titles in Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam
  • You will ensure all creative assets made by EA or partners maintain brand consistency while connecting with local audiences
  • You will collaborate with central creative teams to provide regional insights and feedback
  • You will identify cultural trends and opportunities to enhance our creative experiences in target markets

Skills and Competencies

  • 5 years of creative leadership experience in gaming, entertainment, or digital media
  • Cultural fluency across Asian markets, Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam
  • Team leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Must be fluent in both English and Korean
  • Project management abilities
  • Curiosity about evolving creative approaches in Asia
  • Gaming industry knowledge is beneficial but not critical
