Job Description

The role of Criminal Record Check (CRC) Administrator is critical to Accurate’s core objective of delivering outstanding levels of employment screening and client service. The CRC Administrator will take day to day responsibility for the delivery of our UK criminal record checking service. On a day-to-day Basis, you will be responsible for processing and tracking online applications in the aim of validating and submitting ID documents. You will also be liaising with candidates and internal stakeholders, as appropriate, to obtain missing documents and information.
Must have:
  • Process and track online applications
  • Validate and submit ID documents
  • Liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders for missing information
  • Review and upload results to Candidate’s screening report
  • Perform monthly ad hoc administration and purging of documents
  • Ensure compliance with company policies (Data Protection, Information Security, Health & Safety, Dignity at Work, IT Acceptable Use)
  • Flag up any suspicious occurrences while processing data
  • Initiate and verify Criminal record checks/Employment/social media checks

Note: This is a Fixed Term Contract that runs to 19th of December, 2025 with possibility of extension.

The role of Criminal Record Check (CRC) Administrator is critical to Accurate’s core objective of delivering outstanding levels of employment screening and client service. The CRC Administrator will take day to day responsibility for the delivery of our UK criminal record checking service.

On a day-to-day Basis, you will be responsible for processing and tracking online applications in the aim of validating and submitting ID documents.

You will also be liaising with candidates and internal stakeholders, as appropriate, to obtain missing documents and information.

Responsibilities

  • Flag up any suspicious occurrences while processing data

Role Specific Competencies

  • Using the in-house system to process and track online applications to external suppliers.
  • Validating and submitting ID documents
  • Liaising with candidates and internal stakeholders, as appropriate, to obtain missing documents and information.
  • Reviewing and uploading results to Candidate’s screening report.
  • Monthly ad hoc administration and purging of documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s Data Protection, Information Security, Health & Safety, Dignity at Work and IT Acceptable Use policies and associated procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous office experience is a plus but not essential—full training will be provided
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to clients and candidates
  • Excellent attention to detail and investigative mindset
  • Ability to retain and accurately recall information
  • Naturally curious, resourceful, and enjoys solving problems

The annual base salary for this position ranges from £24,000. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan. The Company also offers a full range of benefits, including medical and dental.
