The Customer Service Specialist I provides technical support to customers through various channels, including trouble tickets, phone, and email. This role involves investigating and resolving software and hardware issues, ensuring excellent customer service with a deep understanding of the products. Responsibilities include providing customer service, investigating and resolving software and hardware problems, troubleshooting customer concerns, collaborating with teams to resolve technical issues, and documenting interactions in the CRM system. The ideal candidate should reside in the Las Vegas area and be open to a flexible schedule.
Must have:
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Prior tech support/help desk experience.
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with customer inquiries.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Reliable internet connection.
Good to have:
  • Experience working with a ticketing system or CRM.
  • Technical background.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Troubleshooting experience.

Description

Everi is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist I to join our dynamic support team. This role provides essential technical support to our customers through various channels, including trouble tickets, telephone, and email. As a Customer Service Specialist I, you will investigate and resolve software and hardware issues, ensuring timely and exceptional customer service with a deep understanding of our products. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and trouble tickets.
  • Actively investigate and resolve software and hardware problems for users and issue trouble ticket reporting on all other problems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve technical issues when necessary.
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system (Zendesk).


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise for the Job:

  • Qualifications
    • Previous customer service experience.
    • Prior tech support/help desk experience.
    • Patience and empathy when dealing with customer inquiries and issues.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $21 - $23/per hour and is overtime eligible.
