We are seeking a highly motivated Data and Reporting Analyst to join our growing Product & Technology team in Sydney, NSW. Drive is an iconic Australian brand with an average online monthly audience of 3 million. This role will play a critical part in driving business insights, performance tracking, and product intelligence across our digital platforms. You'll work closely with Product, Marketplace, Marketing, and Commercial teams to surface meaningful insights that support decision-making, experimentation, and consumer understanding.
Day to day you will:
- Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and deep-dive analysis across audience, product, content, and commercial performance.
- Build and maintain automated reporting pipelines using tools like GA4, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and Google Console.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical problems and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
- Support A/B and multivariate testing frameworks and analyse experiment results to validate product hypotheses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, success metrics, and data definitions to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Identify trends and anomalies in large datasets and proactively share insights with relevant teams.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to validate data quality and ensure robust tagging, tracking, and data flows.
- Document and maintain data dictionaries and reporting standards to support internal literacy and governance.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support strategic projects, product launches, and commercial initiatives.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in a data analyst or reporting analyst role, preferably within digital, e-commerce, or media.
- Mastery and proficiency in Excel and web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experimental design.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially around data literacy and storytelling with data.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to digital media, automotive, or marketplace environments.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with BigQuery, SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with AI automation analysis or reporting capabilities.
- Experience in stakeholder training or developing self-service data tools.
- No automotive experience is required, but a love for all things cars is always a plus.
