This role is within the Flight Delivery Team, responsible for the Flight Management product suite, including Flight Plan Manager, eFlight Manager, Flight Explorer, and OpsComm. These solutions assist airlines with efficient operations planning, optimizing performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction, especially during irregular operations. The Data Analyst will support airlines with aeronautical data, NOTAMs, and AIP data, ensuring data integrity and collaborating globally.
Must have:
  • Provide regular updates and aeronautical data support to airlines.
  • Evaluate and process NOTAMs.
  • Gather, analyse, and process AIP (Aeronautical Information Publication) data.
  • Maintain and manage the AIP library.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of internal databases.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across multiple geographic locations.
  • Document, review, and revise task-related requirements.
  • Identify and resolve complex business challenges efficiently.
  • Operate under general guidance with minimal supervision.
  • Foster team collaboration and actively support peers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.

Team Overview

Flight Delivery Team is responsible for delivering one of the leading Flight Management product suite on the market which consist of: Flight Plan Manager, eFlight Manager, Flight Explorer and OpsComm, used by many leading airlines all around the world. The team is working on product deployment and upgrades, user training of a solution which uses a modern cloud technology and architecture, as well as legacy solutions. The Team also provides a support for Software Engineering and Customer Care teams in troubleshooting customer issues.

Product Overview

Flight Plan Manager is a comprehensive flight planning solution that is used by 30+ customers including some of the largest airlines in the world. The product combines complete data support services — navigational data, NOTAMS, weather, airport suitability and airspace restrictions — with real-time alerts. The 4-D cost optimization functionality, route, altitude, speed and time are analyzed to create an optimal flight path that accounts for fuel costs, CO2 emissions and delays. Flight Plan Manager is complemented by EFB dedicated product – eFM and flight watch/flight monitoring products – Flight Explorer. Communication between Operators and their flying crews is supported by Ops Comm.

Your role:

The Flight Services Team is looking for an Aeronautical Data Analyst for the Flight Plan Manager Data Services Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular updates and aeronautical data support to airlines.
  • Evaluate and process NOTAMs.
  • Gather, analyse, and process AIP (Aeronautical Information Publication) data.
  • Maintain and manage the AIP library.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of internal databases.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across multiple geographic locations.
  • Document, review, and revise task-related requirements.
  • Identify and resolve complex business challenges efficiently.
  • Operate under general guidance with minimal supervision.
  • Foster team collaboration and actively support peers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.

Experience:

Candidate should meet one of the following criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Flight Dispatcher in an airline.

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, and At least 5 years of experience in one of the following roles: Navigation Officer, or Flight Operations Officer.

Skillset:

Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Notams / AIP’s / Aeronautical navigational data / Flight Planning.

Technical skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience / Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Flexibility:

  • Availability for rotating shifts, including night shifts.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
