CAE is seeking a highly organized and proactive professional for a Training Operations Support role within their Commercial Aviation Maintenance Training team in Montreal. This full-time position focuses on ensuring flawless coordination and timely execution of aircraft maintenance training activities, fostering strong stakeholder engagement, and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead administrative functions, manage logistics, and support continuous improvement to empower aircraft maintenance engineers worldwide.

Must Have

  • Act as the primary liaison for all stakeholders, including external and internal teams.
  • Facilitate biweekly meetings to provide updates, capture training requirements, and ensure alignment.
  • Support team to manage booking, planning, and execution of training logistics within timelines.
  • Lead administrative functions related to Maintenance training.
  • Oversee hotel and accommodation arrangements (HOTAC) for personnel attending training sessions.
  • Manage planning and execution of secondary training activities.
  • Track and monitor training related tickets assigned to the training administration team.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive activities to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office including Word, Adobe PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with a complete focus on quality results/deliverables.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solver, interested in leveraging automation to improve current processes.
  • Ability to assess and troubleshoot autonomously.
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Available to work onsite.

Good to Have

  • Aviation experience is an asset.
  • Understanding of training requirement in accordance with Transport Canada Regulations is an asset.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Act as the primary liaison for all stakeholders, including external and internal teams. Facilitate biweekly meetings to provide updates, capture training requirements, and ensure alignment.

  • Vendor and System Support Oversight

Support team to manage booking, planning, and execution of training logistics within timelines. Monitor performance and provide guidance for operational excellence.

  • Training Administration

Lead administrative functions related to Maintenance training. Serve as the central point for planning, documentation, and support activities.

  • Accommodation & Logistics (HOTAC)

Oversee hotel and accommodation arrangements for personnel attending training sessions. Ensure timely invoicing and vendor coordination.

  • Secondary Training Coordination

Manage planning and execution of secondary training activities, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.

  • System Ticket Management

Track and monitor training related tickets assigned to the training administration team. Ensure timely resolution and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree required; aviation experience is an asset.
  • Understanding of training requirement in accordance with Transport Canada Regulations is an asset
