Job Summary

As an Assistant Instructor at the Navy Synthetic Warfighting Centre (NSWC) with CAE, you will deliver advanced tactical training programs and synthetic warfare scenarios. This role involves configuring and operating combat system trainers, voice communications, and simulation networks. You will support synthetic training events by emulating actions of aircraft and vessels, assist with scenario design and database management, and collaborate with technical teams to validate systems and troubleshoot network issues, contributing to a safer world.

Must Have

  • Vocational or technical degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Naval Combat Management Systems (AEGIS and 9LV preferred)
  • Strong understanding of RAN operational structure, warfighting principles, and doctrine
  • Minimum 5 years experience with ADF operations and exercise requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Background in roles such as Surveillance Control Officer, Fighter Controller, Air Combat Officer, or similar

The Role We Are Offering You

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

Essential:

  • Vocational or technical degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
