Job Summary
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IDQ and SQL Engineer to join our data quality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing data quality solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and writing complex SQL queries to ensure accurate data processing. Key responsibilities include designing data quality rules, performing data profiling, optimizing SQL queries for ETL, collaborating on requirements, monitoring metrics, and documenting processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, proven experience with IDQ and SQL, and a strong understanding of data quality principles.
Must have:
- Design and develop data quality rules and workflows using Informatica Data Quality.
- Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with data stewards and business users to gather data quality requirements.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics and improvements.
- Document data quality processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Stay updated on IDQ features and industry trends.
- Implement and manage data quality solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- Write complex SQL queries to ensure accurate data processing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
