The role involves summarizing business insights, developing statistical and mathematical models for growth forecasting, and identifying key data trends to generate actionable business recommendations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in data science, with skills in SQL, Python, Pyspark, machine learning, Gen AI, PowerBI, and Tableau.
Must Have:
  • Extract and collect internal and external data for assigned projects.
  • Build and manage the data ETL and feature engineering process.
  • Create and maintain a suite of advanced analytical feature libraries.
  • Summarize business insights through data analysis.
  • Develop statistical and mathematical models to pursue business opportunities and develop forecasting models for customer and market growth.
  • Identify key trends and data characteristics within the data sets that require further investigation; using analysis to generate actionable business recommendations.
  • 2 years of experience in data extraction through SQL query.
  • 2 years of experience in data ETL and data manipulation.
  • 2 years of experience in feature engineering using Python and Pyspark.
  • 2 years of experience in machine learning model training, validation and maintenance.
  • Experience with Gen AI models and tools.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Tableau.

Job Description:

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field plus 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or related occupation.

Skill Set Requirements:

2 years of experience in the following skills:

  • Data extraction through SQL query;
  • Data ETL and data manipulation;
  • Feature engineering using Python and Pyspark;
  • Machine learning model training, validation and maintenance;
  • Experience with Gen AI models and tools; and
  • PowerBI and Tableau

Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week. $74,277 - $157,600 per year.

Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $91,600 - $126,800
