Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative II, you will build on your foundational skills to support pipeline development efforts through both inbound engagement management and outbound prospecting. In this role, you will continue developing your understanding of Reltio’s offerings, working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to engage with potential clients, identify opportunities, and contribute to the sales pipeline. This role provides an opportunity to refine your communication, research, and organizational skills within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Qualify inbound leads generated from marketing programs to ensure prospects have a positive engagement sentiment and meet initial qualification criteria.
- Conduct account research to develop personalized outreach strategies, leveraging Account-Based Marketing (ABM) insights to engage target personas effectively.
- Assist in executing outbound prospecting strategies, including email outreach, social media engagement, analyzing buyer-intent signals, understanding account trends, and phone calls and/or emails, to generate interest and identify potential opportunities.
- Utilize account intelligence tools to source contact information and identify key buying team personas within target accounts..
- Schedule discovery meetings with qualified prospects to introduce Reltio’s solutions and develop qualified pipeline opportunities for the sales team.
- Collaborate with BDR peers, Sales, and Marketing leadership to optimize pipeline development processes and improve prospect engagement.
- Support event promotion and other marketing initiatives to drive attendance and engagement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management ( CRM - Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools, ensuring all interactions are documented.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and Reltio’s value propositions to engage prospects effectively.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for discovery meetings and qualified opportunities.

Skills You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a business development, sales, or customer-facing role.
- Fluency in English, French, and German (both spoken and written).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
- Familiarity with Google Apps, LinkedIn, Salesforce, or other sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and sales strategies.
- Excellent listening skills and an inquisitive mindset to thoroughly understand client needs.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to take direction, accept feedback, and apply coaching to improve performance.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit to contribute to team success.
