Job Description

Thales is seeking a Data Scientist M/F for its Elancourt site. The role involves gathering business needs and data, processing and analyzing data, and designing algorithms for internal or client needs, such as failure prediction, diagnostic aid, decision support, and strategy optimization. You will also synthesize and simplify results for accessibility and contribute to developing AI-based service solutions and products. Candidates should have a BAC+5 in data science or applied mathematics/statistics and at least 4 years of experience in data analysis and algorithm design.

  • Transversality of scientific disciplines, highly appreciated: systems engineering, operational safety, etc.
Must Have:
  • BAC+5 in data science and/or applied mathematics/statistics
  • At least 4 years of experience in data science: data analysis, algorithm design (machine learning, etc.)
  • Master Python programming language and data science tools
  • Very good command of DataIku software and code industrialization
  • Technical English required

Your daily life

Your daily life:

Your mission is to:

  • Gather needs from business units and data from different systems. You translate business concepts into IT objects (and ensure the interface).
  • Process, analyze data, and design algorithms to meet various internal or client needs (such as failure predictions, diagnostic aid, decision support, strategy optimization, etc.).
  • Synthesize and popularize results to make them accessible.
  • You will also participate in the development of service solutions and/or the design of AI-based products.

Your profile:

  • You hold a BAC+5 in data science and/or applied mathematics/statistics.
  • You have at least 4 years of experience in data science: data analysis, algorithm design (machine learning, etc.).
  • You master the Python programming language and data science tools.
  • Very good command of DataIku software and code industrialization.
  • Transversality of scientific disciplines, highly appreciated: systems engineering, operational safety, etc.
  • Technical English required.
