This Analyst role within the Sales Operations team in Bangalore, India, focuses on demand and supply metrics analytics. Responsibilities include developing deep-dive dashboards for sell-through analysis and market trends. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, with a strong background in data analysis and business targets attainment, possessing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience in analytics and BI dashboard automation is essential. The role involves collaborating with sales regions to maximize revenue, analyzing customer and channel data, implementing supply chain automation, and delving into market share and competitive intelligence. It also includes providing quantitative analysis for sales opportunities and aligning with supply planning and product managers on new products and transitions, while communicating cross-functionally with various teams.
Must have:
  • Work with a major sales region to maximize revenue generation and attain corporate revenue targets.
  • Analyze customer Point of Sale and Channel Inventory data.
  • Make existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing supply chain tools and automation.
  • Delve into market share and competitive intelligence in regional markets.
  • Provide detailed quantitative analysis to identify sales opportunities and drive opportunity/funnel management.
  • Collaborate with supply planning and product managers for new products, transitions, and supply constraints.
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, supply planning, pricing, and PLM teams.
  • B.Tech/Master’s degree with knowledge of supply chain and business analytics.
  • Advanced skills with MS Excel and data manipulation.
  • Very process-focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.
  • Organized with strong work ethic, detailed, and metrics-driven approach.
  • Bachelors BTECH/Master’s from Tier-1 colleges (CGPA – 7+/70%) with 1-3 years of experience.

About the Role

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Sales Operations team. The role will be based in our office, reporting to the Manager, Sales Operations. This position will be responsible for analytics around demand and supply metrics for the company, and developing deep-dive dashboards for sell-through analysis, change in market trends, etc. The ideal candidate needs to be highly analytical with a strong background and understanding in data analysis and business targets attainments. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in analytics and BI dashboard automation is a must.

What you will be doing

  • Work with a major sales region in collaboration with the Sales GM of that region to maximize revenue generation and attain corporate revenue targets.
  • Analyze customer Point of Sale and Channel Inventory data.
  • Make the existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing supply chain tools and automation.
  • Delve into market share and competitive intelligence in regional markets.
  • Provide detailed quantitative analysis in support of identifying sales opportunities to drive opportunity/funnel management.
  • Collaborate with supply planning team & product managers to drive alignment on new products planning, product transitions, and supply constraints.
  • Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally throughout the entire company, including sales, finance, supply planning, pricing, and PLM teams.
