Job Summary

Job Description

You will implement, configure, and maintain the Polarion ALM tool in a private cloud environment, as well as support other Systems Engineering tools and ensure their integration. Your tasks include automating deployment, monitoring (system performance, security, and tool availability), and developing templates, workflows, and reports in Polarion. You will also support users by handling and resolving inquiries and issues, collaborating with development, DevOps, security, quality management teams, and the Thales Group. You will define and implement improvement measures to sustainably increase customer satisfaction.
Must have:
  • Completed studies in computer science, vocational training (IT specialist), or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, especially in CI/CD pipelines, automation (Ansible, Terraform), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/Tanzu).
  • Proficient in server operating systems, especially Linux.
  • Strong teamwork skills, independent and problem-solving oriented work style, and good communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Polarion ALM, alternatively DOORS Next Generation or Codebeamer.
  • Experience with Capella and Pure Variants.
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi).
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Velocity, Python) and interfaces (REST-API, GraphQL, gRPC).

Your Mission

  • You implement, configure, and maintain the Polarion ALM tool in a private cloud environment. You also support other tools in the Systems Engineering area and ensure their integration.
  • Automation of deployment, monitoring (system performance, security, and tool availability), and maintenance, as well as development of templates, workflows, and reports in Polarion.
  • Supporting users by receiving, processing, and resolving inquiries and problems is also part of your activities.
  • Collaboration with development teams, DevOps teams, security and quality management, and the Thales Group.
  • You define and implement improvement measures to sustainably increase customer satisfaction.

What we look forward to

  • A completed degree in computer science, vocational training (IT specialist), or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of professional experience.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with Polarion ALM, alternatively DOORS Next Generation or Codebeamer, possibly also with Capella and Pure Variants, as well as experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi).
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Velocity, Python) and interfaces (REST-API, GraphQL, and gRPC).
