JOB DESCRIPTION:

The SIT department is currently recruiting a Senior System Infrastructure Administrator to ensure the stability and performance of IT infrastructures for major players in the defense, aerospace, and space sectors. The position is based in Gennevilliers (92) with 2 weeks of integration at our Cholet (49) site. Embark on our projects to define the solutions of the future. To perfect your system administration skills, we offer you to take part in our internal initiatives aimed at promoting technical fields at Thales.

MISSIONS:

• Lead and be a reference for the activities of the Service Center Administrators.
• Participate in the evolution of an infrastructure Work Unit catalog in a secure environment.
• Ensure the availability, security, and performance of IT systems in accordance with client requirements.
• Administer and configure servers, storage systems, and networks.
• Monitor infrastructure status and intervene quickly in case of incidents.
• Implement and manage data backup and restoration policies.
• Participate in preventive and corrective equipment maintenance.
• Automation (Jenkins).
• Active Directory.
• Network.
• Supervision (Zabbix desired).
• Virtualization (ESX).
• Linux (knowledge of command lines).
• Security (antivirus).
• Collaborate with development and integration teams to ensure infrastructure compatibility with new applications.
• Perform system diagnostics and performance audits.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of administration processes and the capitalization of best practices.
• Ensure compliance of operations with company standards and policies.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for agile and persistent profiles with solid experience in system administration and capable of adapting to a demanding technical environment.

In addition, you have:

• Significant experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Practical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Mastery of virtualization technologies (VMware, etc.).
• Experience in the defense industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in network and storage system management.
