Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer in the Cloud Operations team, you will support and coordinate operational activities for cloud-hosted solutions, focusing on OpenSearch/ElasticSearch. This includes designing, implementing, and managing OpenSearch solutions, ensuring resilience, availability, health, and performance. You will also deploy and manage components on Kubernetes clusters, implement data pipelines with Logstash, and continuously improve the customer solution experience. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in Cloud Operations/DevOps projects.

Must Have

  • Support and coordinate ongoing operational activities for public cloud hosted solutions (OpenSearch, Kafka, Deployments, monitoring, reporting).
  • Ensure solutions are resilient, available, healthy, and performing well.
  • Design, implement, and manage OpenSearch solutions.
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure effective use of OpenSearch for data indexing, search, and analytics.
  • Deploy and manage various components on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Implement and manage data pipelines using Logstash for data ingestion and processing.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot OpenSearch issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Manage and maintain OpenSearch clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Extensive experience working with container technologies, deployment and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts).
  • Skilled in CI/CD pipeline creation and deployment of infrastructure as code in AWS using Terraform/AgroCD.
  • Solid understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EKS, VPC, NLB/ELB/ALB, IAM, KMS, EC2 or OCI cloud.
  • Experience supporting large scale commercial or government production cloud environments.
  • Networking experience including OSI network layers, HTTP and TCP/IP.
  • Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining operational and security procedures and processes (Patching, Product Updates etc).
  • Strong knowledge of technology and security topics including network and application security, infrastructure hardening.

About the Role

  • As a member of the Cloud Operations (DevOps) team, you will support and coordinate the ongoing operational activities(Opensearch, Kafka, Deployments, monitoring, reporting) for our Public cloud hosted solutions.
  • Day to day responsibilities will include ensuring that our solutions are resilient, available, healthy, and performing well.
  • This role will be focused on operational excellence and will work to continuously improve the overall customer solution experience.

About You

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Cloud Operations / DevOps projects
  • You are a skilled OpenSearch or ElasticSearch Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and managing OpenSearch solutions
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure the effective use of OpenSearch for data indexing, search, and analytics.
  • Deploy and manage various components on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Implement and manage data pipelines using Logstash for data ingestion and processing.
